Warning: Sporadic Blogging Ahead!

My mother was rushed into hospital last weekend, so I haven't had time to sit down all week, let alone write any blog posts!

She is home now and seems to be doing quite well, but I am still spending a lot of time at her house, so I won't be around much for the next few days.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to normal soon!

Happy Fifteenth Birthday to The Singer!

Unfortunately, she won't be getting a cake like the one in the picture.

I'm good, but I'm not that good!

She will however, get to play out her chocaholic fantasies with a large slice of this one by James Martin - often described by my mother as the son she never had.

I have never tried the accompanying Passionfruit Mousse but I can confirm that it does go down VERY well with a large dollop of Jersey cream.

We are now off to town to check out the latest in mobile phones.

If we put all the mobile phones in this house end to end they would probably reach a little outpost somewhere south of Ayres Rock.

But we REALLY need another one.
