Ordinary time refers to that period in the church calendar when the Sundays are simply numbered (remember ordinal and cardinal numbers?) and so we get the first Sunday of OT, the second Sunday of OT etc. But, as the song points out, with small children around, nothing is "ordinary".

My children now range from 40 to 31. Yes, I miss those days she sings about, but I treasure the autumn of my years.Beryl Amenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17434257277408290473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141379598781628847.post-35119566409533028482008-01-24T14:05:00.000+00:002008-01-24T14:05:00.000+00:00i could not watch that video to the end...too many...i could not watch that video to the end...too many tears. & too true...our 2 oldest have moved out to go to college but do come home for breaks. i am cherishing each & every second with them & our 2 youngest...

i like ordinary time...in the liturgical calendar & in my lifequalcosa di bellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15107076097533430296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141379598781628847.post-84762068811015553192008-01-23T11:11:00.000+00:002008-01-23T11:11:00.000+00:00It was a wonderful surprise to find a note from yo...It was a wonderful surprise to find a note from you this morning, so I thought I would pop over and say hello.

Golly. This song/movie is sweet! By the end a tear trickled. Okay, two.
Sometimes I wish I could speed things up (like, say, when the kids will be old enough to help me do BIG jobs) and sometimes I try desperately to grasp onto them and not let go-hoping that by doing so, they will stay the same forever!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17983592950942904914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141379598781628847.post-53052439710501315112008-01-21T18:03:00.000+00:002008-01-21T18:03:00.000+00:00I wanted to pop over and thank you for stopping by...I wanted to pop over and thank you for stopping by Quill Cottage and for your kind comment.
