(L)Eek!

Yesterday, I sent the Football Fanatic to Tesco for a celery.


She came home with this:








According to Wikipedia, 'despair' (to give up all hope or expectation) has somehow, over the centuries, been bundled in with 'sloth', one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Hate to say this but I think that's probably the same kind of mistake the 18-year-old stepgranddaughter here would make too! And I'd never have her go shopping for meat for us since she can't tell the difference between pork, beef, turkey and chicken! Yep! It's true. Depressing isn't it when you think she is graduating this year, but from what, that I haven't a slue.
