Passports to Paradise?

The Father of This Lot arrived with a stack of passport forms and grunted that they needed to be filled in.

Obviously, he is considering arranging some sort of holiday.

However, since he is normally more likely to utter something along the lines of:

......I am, naturally, quite puzzled.

Unfortunately, I am not speaking to the Father of This Lot due to a particularly dastardly trick he pulled at the weekend, and pride therefore, stops me from asking about it.

YES, I KNOW pride is ANOTHER one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

May as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb, I always say.

More like role reversal in our house - it's the Pater Familias who's always wanting to go off on a trip up the Orinoko or a little hike up Mount Kilimanjaro and I'm afraid I'm the one who says, 'What's wrong with a few days in The New Forest?' !

Hope you get the holiday YOU'd like, anyway - once you've overcome your pride!

Thoroughly enjoyed a quick read through your posts having discovered you by accident. Shall clearly need to come back for advice on my two, how you keep 5 in line I can't imagine. LOVE your graphics too - so clever.

You might have to ask him. The suspense is killing!

Just wait till he falls asleep and have a look at what brochures he's hidden.
Find out covertly I say. Pride is all. ;0)

Does he know he will have to take out a second mortgage to pay for all those passports? LOL

You're gonna have to give in and ask him 'cos we want to know!

Well I would be looking to see if Hell froze over, because my ToonMan is about as likely to take a trip as the guy in that poster!

It'll be to send you all to Birmingham to see the Pope at St Andrew's or Villa Park. It probably hasn't struck him yet that you won't need passports, just valid tickets.
