School Daze

Some comments from The Fixer's Parents Evening:

'highly academic'

'practical and problem solving'

'no shortage of ideas'

'could charm the birds off the trees'

'talks too much'

Tell me something I didn't know.

That makes three Parents Evenings this month and two Options Evenings yet to go.

As one teacher remarked to me lastnight,

'Good God, are you here again?'

I'll be on the payroll next.

At least you knew which child you were there for - I've had parents ask me which of their children's parents' evening it was!

She realizes how many kids you have, right??

Sounds like you've got some bright children. Talkativeness is a sign of brilliance. When will teachers realize this?

With five kids I expect it's an endless round of 'school' evenings!

Hi Jackie, you are one proud Mum I am sure. Brilliant remarks for Fixer.Thumbs Up.

My niece got acceptance in 2 reputed Universities in Canada and a scholarship too, I am so happy about that.

Your gals are all bright students.

Talks too much.

I dont see this as a problem as long as the other things preceding it are all positive .. did this teacher really think that:

highly academic'

'practical and problem solving'

'no shortage of ideas'

'could charm the birds off the trees'

Happens w/o talking? By speaking occasionally?

GO Fixer!!!!!!!!

Me again. Have to chip in and say that, as a teacher, I love the talkative kids, just not when I'm talking!! She sounds great to me; I'd have her in my lessons any day.
