Green Fingers

I am trying to write a post about a small gardening success.

This afternoon, I have taken photographs of it.

I am now looking for the lead to the digital camera so that I can show them to you.

Does anyone know where it is?

Of course, I know where I left it.....but in this house, that means absolutely nothing.

If I find it, I'll be back.

Yes, its in the kitchen drawer with the cellotape, the takeout pizza menu, and the free sample of hair conditioner from a magazine.

Betcha.

Same here, that's why I have very few pics on my blog recently. I'm having to put the 'chip' into the laptop and e-mail them to myself here on the computer. It's a lot of messing about.

Belle had her 7th birthday party yesterday, I'm currently e-mailing myself the photos.

Pencil e-mailed me a couple at 12 o'clock today and I only recieved them 10 minutes ago!

Can't wait to see your gardening achievement...

Well isnt it amazing after finding the weekend jollification pics on MY camera which took itself off into town with "home for the summer" uni student son . I commented on their lack of Lichfield quality and this from an ARTS student!! I then today when fighting my way round the bedroom mess found that said son had removed my camera usb lead and put it in his computer with never a word. May the saints preserve me I know for a fact when I would be on my knees under the computer asking who had moved it they would all pull that senior moment card. "Mother your the only one who moves things round here"

Oh dear! Well, it wouldn't matter at this very moment, because apparently the ability to upload photos is broken in Blogger. They're working on it.

Peace - D

it's in the bottom draw in the desk next to this one. you know, the one with the leads and usb cords, printer cartridges, battery packs, outdated memory sticks, microphones, used video tapes, cables and extension cords and plugs to everything ELSE in the house, except for the thing you want!!!

It's wedged behind a radiator in a room you rarely go into.(fear keeps you at bay)
OR it's in the toy box under the half eaten banana.
At least that's where I find leads and such like.
Oh, and if that fails you might find it in a saucepan in a cupboard where no saucepan was ever seen before.
But that's my house-yours could be different.

It's there by the computer. Wondering why it's not working? Checked all the settings in the software? Put new batteries in camera? Read manual?

Oh, husband has unplugged it from the USB port! (Happened to me this weekend)

What you need is an external card reader - just plug into the poota with a usb cable and Bob's your Uncle.

Oh my gosh, i can so relate, I can never find the cords for my camera or my phone to download pics, and oddly, I'm the only one to ever use them! Looking forward to seeing your gardening photo. Being a novice gardner, I always like to hear about people's success in their own.

Haven't found it yet then???!

LMAO. Same here. I invested in a card reader - I keep hold of my card and the card reader is part of the computer. So no one can interfere!

But I have a spare lead if you wanna borrow it....

Is it a carrot? A rose? Have you managed to cut the grass short? All of these could be illustrated by a photo you found on the Internet and downloaded. So it must be something special.

The Trafford Triffid? The Ancoats Aster? The Oldham Road Hoster? The Failsworth Frangipani? The Chadderton Cherry? The Blackley Bluebell? The Victoria Avenue Viola?

It has grown legs and walked away on its own. And when it's ready it will come back and sit there looking innocent, just where you left it. M :-)
