Saturday Is (No Longer) Baking Day

This morning I got up very early and baked a cake.

This afternoon United lost 2-1 to Arsenal.

Guess what I won't be getting up early and doing on Saturday mornings in future?

I think the Football Fanatic has calmed down now.

Well, the banging's stopped...........

I'm sure it's not cause and effect. Just try a different kind of cake next Saturday!

Arsenal had had a bad week - they just took it out on your lot. It'll be fine to bake again next week (home to Stoke?) x

Nor would I get up at the crack of dawn to bake a cake! Try different colours next week?

Hi there

I do apologise for clogging up your comment box with this but would it be possible for you to drop me an email at your convenience?

I'm working on something at the moment that I think may be of interest to you both as a parent and a blogger.

Cheers!

It's a standing joke in our house that when the Seattle Seahawks football team start to lose, I bake buns. It's the stress.

And I thought Husband was insane when he got hysterical that his 'poker' socks were in the hamper... I guess he tracked them down by the ODOR

So we've established whose fault it was. So: what next?

BAKE BREAD! If you can't make bread, how on earth are cakes going to help!

A loaf, roady bacon, the lass in the picture who's pretending to be you, flipping a multi-coloured pancake in the lobby of a large hotel, making the butties, and we restore normality.

Cake is for when we're winning.

Sorry to laugh about it all, but just know, reading your posts has made my morning!
