If You Can't Fight.....

....wear a big hat.

(An old Mancunian saying I believe).

Well, my mother used to say it a lot, and she's an old Mancunian.

Anyway, I have had an extremely trying week with the Father of This Lot.

A LOT of this has been going on:

Perhaps it's my big hat he objects to.

(Sorry I've not been commenting on other blogs much. I'll get back to you all sooner or later).

I've added the word Mancuian to my vocabulary. Once I got ovre that part, I pray that all will work out in your situation.

Here's another one: If you can't fight . . . go shopping.

For hats, maybe.

Praying you two will have things squared away in no time.

Hugs,

The Jews have a saying (okay more than 'a' saying and yet...): 'how is this day different from all the others' (actually its not 'day' and yet... )...

And my own personal fav: make sure you dispose of the body properly (not really, and yet ...)

You know you're in my prayers. You've a good heart - things will work out. The trouble is the waiting . . . always.

You know, the more I see of families, the more I feel this is all normal!
Maybe I am getting twisted! Everyone I know seems to be hurting in some way!

Oh dear...hope all is sorted soon.

I'm all for hats, too. Think of it this way - the bigger the hat, the harder you can whack someone with it if all else fails.

(That's the Chicagoan in me, I guess...)

A big hat. Not a mad hatter.

Best of luck!

Just catching up.
Are the school holidays due? Funny how tempers get short and willingness to help is also in short supply then... ;0)

Smiling at Daryl's comment. I think that's what I meant but she said it better - how IS this day different from the others?

I like that hat! Would you like me to come and slap the back of his legs for him?
