The Finger of Suspicion?

First it was these:

Next it was 'Let's take the kids out for the day'

Then it was an invitation for a night out:

Now, if I were a more suspicious type of person, I might be wondering what on earth the Father of This Lot's up to now.

Enjoy the flowers and the day out with the kids. Let him take you out, hopefully for dinner and not the pub quiz. Say thank you for a lovely day and good night. Hard to get makes them try even harder. Pud x

Suspicion is likely warranted BUT why not just enjoy the 'ride' and know you are in control ... Deb is right .. keep it casual so HE begins to wonder!

Enjoy it!

btw did you do a Maria von Trapp and make that ballgown out of the curtains?

Renae said...

Working Mum, I thought that was Scarlett O'Hara! :-)

Congrats on all the attention. You deserve it!

Oh, hell! Just have fun, girl!!

Renae, I think they both did it. But do the girls have matching ones?

He knows he has a lot to make up for. Or he thinks he knows what will work...

When he misses you more than he misses Stella, well...?

act like it doesn't matter, stay casual...it keeps HIM guessing. i know this works..i've done this to someone before LOL but of course, that gets them more interested and they start going after YOU hehe

Very suspicious but if you are getting something out of it, who cares!

I'd enjoy it first and be suspicious afterwards!

Yep, enjoy every moment and ask questions later...

I don't know what he's up to....but can I borrow the gown? I think it's coming back into fashion and I need something glamorous for the teacher/parent evening.

Don't ask. Except to say that there's no-one at The Son's High School who's over 40.

And yes, you do So Deserve It. I hope you enjoy.
But I'm cautious...
I wish you luck, my friend.

Well you know men, there is probably a good reason to be suspicious but that doesn't mean you can't have fun and enjoy the attention. Who knows maybe it will be you both want the same.

Well you can't say he's not a trier!

Go on Stella!

I think being cautious is better than suspicious. You know what he is up to. He's creeping. Let him. You deserve it. Just don't lead him on if there is no hope - you still can have a night out as friends or exes. Or joint parents.

On the other hand, if there is hope, don't be fooled by a few flowers and a night out. As some one else said, he has to get rid of Stella for good first. And prove it. ;0) Your life of course.. not lecturing. Just mho. From some one who really does care...

Oh, yeah, he is giving himself away. But those flowers sure are gorgeous -
might as well enjoy it and pretend like you don't notice anything.

Hi,

I found your blog for a few days ago-possibly via Zoe's ('My Boyfriend Is A Twat') favourite blog links. I've been here every day since!(no, actually, that'll be the middle of the night!) And I've 'visited' Punk Rock Mommy, and Manic Mother of Five, and Family Affairs. I think youre all brilliant! Just wanted to say hi and thanks for just being out there writing about your lives!!

As for the flowers n stuff, just enjoy it. You deserve it!

All the best,

Suzy

Are you still there? He hasn't whisked you off to Florida, has he?

I'm looking out of my window for an SOS in the night sky, just in case....but of course there are too many clouds between our shores for me to pick you out. If you're not back by tomorrow I'll be sending out a search party....

Dont think about it, enjoy it! And... it might be the perfect time to bring up a big request. Hit him up while he's trying! :)

Hmmm sounds to me like he's looking for a great Fathers day gift.

I'm new too and without pressing the back button I have no idea how I got here.

PS Maria made clothes for the kids, Scarlett a dress for herself.
