What a T*sser!

I'm sorry about the title of this post, but it was begging to be written and I couldn't help myself!
And to be fair, tossing pancakes is something I do rather well.

I wish I could tell you this is one of my pancakes. It's not. I got this picture from the BBC Good Food website. Unfortunately, in the nanosecond it took between piling my pancakes artfully on a plate and getting the camera, they were gone. They were very nice though. I know this because...I GOT ONE! For the first time ever, in the history of Pancake Tuesday, there was actually one left for me! (Note to self: In future only ever make pancakes before the Football Fanatic arrives home).
So that would appear to be it. Lent begins tomorrow. Playtime's over.

You're the third person I've read today that has mentioned pancakes. And now I want some. Badly.

That split pea soup I'm making doesn't sound good at all anymore.

What you do is you force! everyone to stand well back while you take a photo of the pancakes, that's what I did but then I only had two to contend with, I maybe wouldn't be so brave with five all clamoring for food.

You're very good, making pancakes for your 5...I'm afraid I'd secretly stashed away, then eaten 2rashes of bacon before I'd even served The Family. An apron with a deep pocket has it's uses, you know.

I think we should rally round and make an extra plate for the Rotten Correspondent. (Then I could have another rash of bacon...)

I thank you for stopping over at my place. I am restricting my blogging during lent, but not eliminating it. I'll be back!

LOL! (<-- at myself!) One of those moments I must share...I saw the photo, began to read, and based on the title, thought we were supposed to be looking for the face of the VM and/or her Son in the pancake! Then I read the rest. So glad to be wrong...

You are very brave making pancakes on a weekday - I'd never be able to pull it off on a school morning. We have them on Saturdays, mostly, and you're too right. I either get none, or I get the last few to have alone, as everyone else is done by the time I finish off the last of the batter.

Well I never knew people ate pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. We don 't celebrate it here.

But somehow I was thinking of them on Ash Wed AM...maybe it was telepathy or something.

Yours must be really good. The proof is in the pudding.
