It's A Giveaway

This is my 99th post. Who'd have thought it? And apparently, it is traditional that when you reach 100 posts, you are supposed to tell everybody 100 things about yourself

Not a chance.

I couldn't even think of 100 things about myself, and if I could, I wouldn't have the time.

So instead, I'm having a giveaway. A much better idea in my opinion.

And since the 'Mothering Monday' posts were such a hit, I thought I'd giveaway the book which contains most of these little gems.

(No, it's not the one The Peacemaker bought me for Mother's Day - I went and bought another one)!

So, if you'd like to win a copy of
'The Mums Book - for the Mum who's best at everything'
just leave a comment. Nothing fancy. You can just say hello if you like.

If you've been lurking and haven't commented before, now's your chance!

I'll do the draw on Friday.

And now I am off to see my own mother, who, so this lot tell me, is not very pleased with me, since I haven't been to see her for a week.

I will return later, no doubt suitably chastised.

Oh, and I do hope this new found award-winning celebrity thing dies down soon.

I was snapped by the paparazzi this morning on my way to the shops.

I only went for bread.

Congratulations on your award and I'm relieved to see that it hasn't remotely gone to your head....and I see I'm the first to enter your draw. Lx

Whoah, you can do a seriously snotty look when you want to, mind you those bloody paps deserve it. I was snapped last week in my tartan dressing gown & green wellies, carrying a torch and holding a syringe of chicken wormer in my teeth. I only made Chicken Weekly, at least you made Vogue. Debs

Congrats on reaching number 99. And you look fabulous when heading to the store!

100 things to reveal about oneself is an awful lot of secrets out of the bag.

I must say, that bread in your arms looks awfully suspicious. Are you sure it's French?

I understand all about those pap's - they were all over me when I kidnapped Dr. Phil..

Wow, coming up for your centinary? That's something to celebrate - I've put the Champagne on to chill - tell me when to pop the cork!

Congrats on all those posts. That takes a lot of stamina.
Most importantly, I hope I win. I have sworn these drawings off, but because it's you, I'll give it one more shot...Hope you don't let me down. No pressure, though.

Well, you might as well smile and give them a lovely picture. I've heard that's the only way to make them go away.

Congrats on reaching 100!

I see that you don't just pick up the one item you go for, either.

It looks like you got something leafy and green, though, so your impulse items are better than some...

At least you gave them your 'haughty look'!

What does a mum who's best at everything need a mum's book for? I'm intrigued. Pop my name in the hat!

Oooh! Scary! You can certainly move, alright, when the wind's behind you. I don't think I've ever had such a fast response to a one word comment, before. I would like to apologise for my previous, rather flippant remark, but I can't see to type for my tears of laughter, so I can't! Have I won, then?

I also missed the rite of passage and find that I may have done 100 posts this month. Well, maybe not quite but more than ther are days and I don't know how that happened.

Well, I was going to say you don't look anything like 99 until I saw your Vogue cover - and am now green with envy! You're gorgeous.
Many congrats on all those Posts - it shows great stamina as well as talent. Brains AND Beauty. (Has the flattery worked yet?) M :)

You always look so fabulous all the time, going to parties, standing in the kitchen in your apron with your hands on your hips, going out for bread... when I grow up, I want to be just like you :D

CrazyCath said...

Hey Jackie you look good on Vogue! And that is NOT bread you bought. I'd say you were perhaps lacking in the bedroom department... ;0) It's definitely NOT bread shaped.

seems the paps have been at San's too. She hasn't been on Vogue though. Yet.

Where could I get a copy of that book? I do so love it. Sorry I haven't been over in ages - been gardening then hurting my wrist (see mine). Congrats on 99 posts. Off to read no. 100 now.
