Wonderful Women of the Web!

Last week Casdok very kindly gave me this award:

When I wrote the 'self-pitying' posts last week, I was genuinely bowled over by all the encouragement, lovely comments and promises of prayers. I realised I had, over the last month, been befriended by some wonderful women.

So, I would like to pass this award on to all of you!

In no particular order, come and get it!

And David, you'll either have to become an honorary 'Wonderful Woman of the Web' (no dressing up, mind) or make yourself a 'Wonderful Man of the Web' award!

I have not been commenting on any blogs for a couple of days because my keyboard appeared to have packed up, but I have re-jigged all the plugs and it seems okay now, so I am off to catch up on everything I've missed!

Weekly health update: The Football Fanatic has a chest infection, but it has not stopped her eating, clubbing or watching football, so we are not unduly worried.

I am however, expecting Social Services to call if any more of this lot attend the doctor's surgery in the near future.

Oh, Thank you so much! What an honor!

I've never received a web award before! You'll have to tutor me in how to "pick it up"!

I am smiling from ear to ear. Thanks again!

Yay!
I'm terrible about passing awards along. I think I need to do a mammoth "this award goes to" post in the near future, or else a big apology post!
Thanks a mill. I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog and getting to know you a bit.
And next time I'm in a funk, you can return the favor. :)

Dear Friend,
Thanks for giving my lovely friend, Renae, an award. She truly deserves it.
And thanks for so often visiting my blog and taking the time to leave comments.
I love your blog and hope to visit again soon.
I'm afraid I have been in my cave so long finishing my book, that I have not been out and about returning favors to other wonderful women who are blogging.
But, I can see, you do make that a priority and I just want to say thank you for supporting and cheering other women.
Jlo

Oh, I hope you are feeling better. Such a hard time of the year to have a heavy heart, the wintery winds kind of help to keep everything 'stuffed down.'
Praying God blesses you and speaks His love to you in tender ways. *Let us know if He says something that you can share !

thanks for the award, you are very sweet.

Ma'am, may I just say thank you very much for this Oscar, I mean this award.

My dress is by Collette Dinigan, my jewellery by Swarovski and my shoes by Manolo Blahnik.

I'd just like to say what a great pleasure it is and I;m so sorry I left my tux and bow tie behind!

I'll try better next time ....

Thank you! What a great award, I know some great women to pass it onto. I am also astonished at how much support I receive from the blogging community, it has truly enhanced my life.

Just popped in via Swearing Mother and I am oh so sorry I didn't visit earlier! You write in such a humerous way, although I doubt it's that funny to live with sometimes!

What stamina with all those daughters. My patience is tried with a house-full of men. There is a teenager and a football fanatic. I try to keep the balance with the cats but somehow, it adds to the mayhem.

Anyway, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading your posts and I'll link to you and keep reading. It makes me feel that my life is quite normal actually...

First time for everything!

Well I have come here via Jeni from Down River Drivel...she highly recommnded your blog..and I can see why...you have a wonderful way of presenting life and for really trying to take things in stride...I totally understand the football thing....all of my cousins live in England and are football fanatics as well...when I was in England with my kids my middle daughter became a huge manchester united fan....I saw on your side bar the name of the author of the book you are reading...Roisin McAuley..you know that is my youngest daughters name..Roisin...that is not a very common name in Canada at all...I named her after her Aunt Rose and her cousin Roisin...I think it's a beautiful name....anyhow..I am glad I dropped by....
