Question Time

I'm afraid today's post is a bit of a cop-out. Maybe I am coming down with something, but today I fell asleep for most of the afternoon, only just waking up in time to pick the kids up from school!

As a result, there is nothing for tea, the house has taken on an air of 'shabby chic' and from the banging and raised voices coming from downstairs I can only assume that whoever The Noise has conned into playing with her is probably not doing things her way!

So, faced with too much to do in too little time, coupled with a complete lack of inspiration, I have decided to host my own version of 'Question Time'. I've seen this sort of things on other people's blogs.....actually, now I come to think of it, they were far more popular blogs than this one........oh, well, too late now.....

So, if you have a question you've always wanted to ask me, (though why on earth anyone would I don't know)....ask away. Ask two if you like, or even three. I'll answer them all. (God, I hope nothing too embarrassing crops up)!

The Fixer's award for today is 'This Blogger Tells a Good Tale' and goes to:

Don't forget to pass them on - she's rigging up some sort of tracking device as we speak, to see where they end up!

I will be back later. In the meantime I shall be in the kitchen, trying to make a meal out of two tins of tomatoes, a day old loaf and three hot cross buns.

Hi, there!

Okay! I have two questions for you. 1. Where do you see yourself/your life in ten years? and 2. If you could spend one day with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

I'm not sure what to ask as I haven't been reading too terribly long. I do wonder 'how do you do it? 5 daughters! do they all get along pretty well? I'm not sure of ages, but has boy-craziness started and oh boy can't even imagine dating years and driving, etc.

Here's one I've wondered since finding your site. Five daughters; your life must be so hectic, how do you get time to write a blog?

Darn! Working mum beat me to it! How DO you get the time to blog with such good tales too?

So instead I'll ask, What inspires you to write the most (life, competitions, your family) and why do you write (blog)?

Do you recognise good "blog" topics in your daily routine?
Is this normal? Because I am starting to do it. Does it mean I am a signed up blogophile?

That's enough questions. Just wondering. Love your blog btw. No wonder it's busy. It's good.

Thanks for the award! That Fixer could end up working for M5 or the S.A.S. She's too clever by half.

Okay, so with 5 girls there have to be some hilarious stories. What was one that didn't seem funny at the time but in retrospect makes you laugh?

I want to know what you made out of two tins of tomatoes, a day old loaf and three hot cross buns. :)

Wow! I am greatly hpnoured. Thank you Fixer, you are very clever! Had a horrible feeling mine would have a rat on it, so I am well pleased with the books! Glad you feel I can tell a good tale (or tail, whichever way you look at it!)
What are you going to do with the hot cross buns & the tins of tomatoes? The mind boggles!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well - hope you feel much better soon.

That Fixer of yours is VERY talented - you really should consider hiring her out! x

Okay, let's get straight to the question. We Americans tend to have this fantasy that all of you British people have some sort of tie to royalty. So, are you royal? Is that improper to ask? Should I curtsy and call you "Lady Mother OTL"?

Love,
A mere commoner who loves your blog

Ok, I'll bite. I’m always fascinated by how other folks live, particularly in a different country. So………how big is your house/flat or where ever you live? Do you have a yard and a garden? What style would you call your decoration (country, traditional, Shabby Chicã, Country French, etc.?)? How about your favorite colors?

Question 1: What did you make for tea?

Question 2: Did they eat it?

Question 3: Can I have the recipe?

Oh, the pressure of the blog award... I didn't know I was being followed yesterday! Well, that will give me the motivation needed to do the pass-along thing and not be greedy. Thankfully, I just recently got "caught up."

My question, and it may be redundant, but here goes:
How old are the girls?

Alright, tell us how you REALLY feel about the French. :-)

Hmmm. HR questions huh? Here's one for you - If you could be any animal, what animal would you be and why? (I had that asked of me in one interview -didn't get the job so I guess I didn't pick the right animal - but I hated that question and have wanted for almost 10 years now to spring it on someone else!

Now that award - WOW - quite an impressive award it is! I will add it to my sidebar ASAP -and hope to heck I can get my sidebar to open properly in doing that too! BLogger and their non-fixing of stuff you know!

That's a really neat award. I hope I end up with it some day!

A question!?

Do you like classical music and if yes, who is your favorite composer?

Amrita said...

Well all those are such good questions and some I would liked to ask.But my question is

Are you a SAHM or do you work outside the house?

Does your family...Mom, Dad and siblings live near you?

Clever girl - I bet she gets it from her Mum! Was it hot cross buns a la mode or did you get a take-away? M :)

Oh, I hope you feel better.

Do you ladies find American accents to be as devastating charming as we Yanks find a proper British accent to be (particularly when paired with a strong jaw-line and....well-tailored clothing of past or present eras?)

;-)
